Job Description Summary:
Symphony Health is a leading provider of data and analytics to the healthcare industry. Our clients rely on us to deliver accurate and timely insights to help them make informed decisions. Symphony Health is seeking a Software Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate is an experienced software architect with a passion for designing and building complex, high-performance systems. As a Software Architect, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions that meet business needs and exceed customer expectations.
Job Description:
Develop and maintain software architecture for complex, enterprise-level systems.
Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance and direction on technical design and implementation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and design specifications.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Evaluate and recommend technology solutions, tools, and platforms.
Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
Drive software design reviews, ensuring adherence to architectural standards.
Work with project management and development teams to estimate effort and prioritize work.
Participate in the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
Troubleshoot complex issues and provide solutions.
Prepares functional specifications for development teams.
Plans, coordinates, and transitions finished projects to production operations and support.
Evaluate and define necessary prototype alternatives to determine best approach for each solution.
Provide technical problem resolution to complex issues.
Contribute to ongoing process and methodology improvements.
Work on cross functional teams to provide feedback and support the evolution of a software solution.
Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Iterative, Agile).
Sound knowledge in various areas of technology.
Strong knowledge of best practices of custom developed software implementations.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to interact at multiple levels of the organization.
Strong critical thinking and analysis skills.
Strong project management skills.
Strong customer relationship management skills.
Strong ability to translate client needs into technology solutions.
Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent.
