SOFTWARE TEST AND RELEASE MANAGER
LIMERICK

As a Release Manager you will play very important role in agile continuous delivery process.
 
You will manage group of software testers to make sure that deliverables are very good quality.
 
You will influence technology, which is used to conduct software testing activities.
 
JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
 
•             Manage a team of software quality engineers including coaching, one-on-one meeting, training needs and reviews, conflicts reconciliation, timesheets if applicable.
•             Drive team performance, look for the ways to improve the team efficiency by introducing better tools, processes.
•             Every Release identify tools or processes impediments, which you will be used as an improvement feed to the next sprint.
•             Focus on regression automation.
•             Document and maintain all processes and procedures related to testing and release deployments.
•             Ensure that software development methodology and all corresponding process and procedures are followed
•             Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
•             Perform testing and validation activities as part of the team
•             Analyses, priorities and follow resolution of production bugs
•             Provide recommendations to possible software solutions•         
•             Manage Software Test Engineers
•             Manages Software Quality and Deliverables
•             Ensures that Software Methodology is followed.
 
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
 
•             Experience in Software Testing Management.
•             5+ years experience of automated testing working environment.
•             Strong technical IT knowledge including SQL language, Web Services, JavaScript, WWW
•             Knowledge of JEE environment will be desired.
•             Knowledge of programing languages (java, python, JavaScript)
•             Strong knowledge of software testing practices include development (Junit) and UAT testing (Selenium, Robot Framework)
•             Ability to operate with high flexibility in a constantly evolving team environment.
•             Thinks strategically and focuses on the ‘value add’ factor for their area.
•             Experience using agile planning techniques
