CTA Supervisor
Office based: Warsaw
This position plays a crucial role in fostering a high-performance culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to the overall success of clinical operations within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Goal Setting:
Manage a team of clinical operations staff, setting clear goals and objectives to foster a culture of excellence.
Drive staff expectations towards achieving high performance standards.
Employee Development and Support:
Develop skills within the team and encourage continuous growth through regular feedback.
Provide assistance and support to both local and remote staff members.
Identify and deliver necessary training to optimize job performance, focusing on ICON procedures, ICHGCP, and local regulations.
Coaching and Mentoring:
Implement personalized development plans for team members.
Provide coaching and mentoring to assigned staff, including Senior and Clinical Trial Assistants (CTAs), to ensure productivity, quality performance, and continuous development.
Communication and Approval:
Maintain regular one-on-one communication with assigned staff.
Approve vacation time and leave requests, consulting with Project Managers/Clinical Trial Managers as needed.

Instill a culture of expecting excellence, delivering on commitments, and inspiring others.
Travel and Regional Support:
Travel approximately 10% domestically and/or internationally.
Ensure the development of tools, templates, and processes for regional use as needed.
Performance Management:
Set clear goals and objectives for team performance, conducting timely reviews and appraisals.
Take appropriate actions to ensure staff consistently meets performance expectations.
Make recommendations for promotions when appropriate.
Resource Management:
Monitor and evaluate workload, collaborating with Resource Management and Project Manager/Clinical Trial Manager for optimal resource allocation.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
Participate in the interviewing process for internal and external candidates.
Ensure proper induction and orientation for new hires, assigning mentors as necessary.
Issue Resolution and Quality Improvement:
Address issue escalation related to the quality of staff performance.
Contribute towards quality improvement initiatives, implementing necessary Quality Control activities and monitoring relevant metrics.
Productivity and Profitability:
Measure and improve productivity and profitability of the assigned staff.
Consistently perform Senior CTA duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree ideally in a relevant field (Life Sciences, Nursing, or related discipline).
Clinical research experience, background working as a CTA is preferred
Demonstrated experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing staff
Fluency in English and Polish
