Translation Coordinator

Our Language Services team is part of our Commercialisation and Outcomes division. Language Services operates predominantly out of Abingdon (UK), Raleigh-Durham (NC, USA), San Diego (CA, USA) and Seoul. This position is office-based and located at our Abingdon UK office. The client management team provides support to Language Services functional teams throughout the lifecycle of translation projects.
 
We currently have an opportunity for a Translations Coordinator, who will focus on managing translation project-related tasks and liaising with clients. The role would include a focus on developing and acting as administrator of ICON Language Services’ bespoke translations database, a web-based tool that helps users to research clinical outcomes assessments, submit requests for new translations and liaise with instrument developers. Applicants must be able to demonstrate drive, passion and a strong sense of team working as well as the ability to work autonomously, along with a desire to progress within our organisation. Successful candidates will also possess great communication and organisational skills and be comfortable managing a variety of tasks at one time. A background/qualification in languages or communications/business would be an advantage, as would a proven ability to learn and manage new software and technologies.
