Validation Specialist - (Junior Level Software Tester)

About the Software Tester role within ICON: 

The Software Tester will execute formal test scripts, complete associated documentation and ensure test results are reported accurately. The Software Tester will also write and execute change control test scripts.  Complete test execution will be required for simple to moderate complexity systems.

The Software Tester will communicate with the Lead/Manager and/or team regarding system testing progress and issues.  Assigned tasks are required to be completed within timeline constraints and quality issues must be reported to the Lead or Manager in a timely manner.

 To succeed you will need:

We are seeking a Bachelor’s degree, or local equivalent, in information systems, science, or related discipline or relevant experience along with a minimum of 1 year experience in software testing.

You will need to possess the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines, liaise professionally with team members and system users, perform assigned tasks with moderate supervision, and demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
