Are you a strategic leader with a proven track record in driving the growth, development and oversight of ICON's operations into the APAC region?

Vice President, APAC

ICON is a European led global CRO known for our technological advances and innovative approach to drug development. ICON is presently in over 40 countries with over 80 offices worldwide and over 10,000 employees globally. The VP APAC will be the key person who drives the local customer relationships that enable ICON to work globally and deliver its business. You will play a key role in trouble shooting and problem solving which enables ICON to develop and grow its business portfolio. You will be responsible for setting the vision and strategic overview to the country managers and site heads

This position will have a have a regional focus leading and influencing the overall delivery, through the relevant sub groups, to drive customer satisfaction, quality and efficiencies. You will also be Responsible for all local client relationships and communicating with the executive management within ICON on all critical issues and business growth opportunities, using their influencing and trouble shooting skills to deliver successful solutions to our global business model.

To succeed you will need:

With a University degree in medicine, science, or equivalent, you will have had a successful career within the CRO/Pharmaceutical industry at a senior, independent and influencing level. In addition you will also have: Excellent leadership skills, developed with a collaborative approach to driving performance and success in the global environment. Direct experience in a number of the operational functions within the CRO/Pharmaceutical industry. Proven experience in strategic planning, risk management and change management and proven experience of managing growth through organic quick hiring and acquisitions.
