Are you a Business Development professional with a successful track record of generating new and repeat business for the CRO sector, either within Diagnostics or Medical Devices?

ICON PLC is a Clinical Research Organisation with a strong global reputation in our approach to clinical development.  Through intelligent acquisition and organic growth, ICON Commercialisation & Outcomes (ICO) have built a division which can offer a fully integrated and comprehensive product commercialisation capability.
 
We are looking for a Business Development Director, ideally with CRO knowledge and experience, to achieve annual sales targets and to develop and implement sales strategy across assigned clients.
The role will also involve working with the various internal functions to manage the proposal, contract and change order process in pursuit and recognition of revenue.  Partnering with members of our Scientific Services and Consulting team, along with collaborating with the ICON Clinical Research sales team, to drive business growth with existing clients and cultivate relationships with new clients in a consultative selling environment.
 
Ideally the successful candidate will have a proven track record of sales success with a consultative approach and a sound understanding of the principles of Key Account Management.
