Locations: Dublin, Ireland; Paris, France or Madrid, Spain
 
ICON is a global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries.  This is an excellent new job opportunity to join our successful team in Clinical Data Management.   
 
About Clinical Data Lead at ICON: 
 
As a Clinical Data Lead, you will be the key point of contact for day-to-day management of activity on your specific studies.  The Clinical Data Lead is responsible for, primarily overseeing and coordinating tasks including study set-up and close-out tasks which are delegated to the study team members.
 
Responsibilities: 
 
  • Lead the development and implementation of the Data Management Plan, to study specific procedures
  • Delegate activities to Clinical Data Coordinators, ensuring completion and quality of activities in both local and remote offices
  • Review project activity, identify out of scope tasks and collaborate with Data Management Project Management team with tasks including forecasting and revenue recognition
  • Be the key point of contact for the implemented Data Management Plan for the sponsor team, resolving study data issues and performing checks
  • Provide updated information on your projects at regular meetings
  • Continually assess training needs for team members and act as a mentor to junior team members
 
To succeed you will need:
 
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate good initiative with strong client relationship management skills, along with an aptitude for project management.  You will have the ability to lead more than one project at a time and prioritising accordingly.
 
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
 
  • Experience in using CDMS, Rave, Inform, Oracle Clinical or OCRDC
  • Conceptual knowledge of project management within data management
  • Working knowledge of clinical data management, with industry experience
  • Proven ability in effectively communicating requirements and solutions to others
