The role:

In this position, you will join a marketing team with responsibility for content publishing to the ICON website, as well as ICON accounts on social media channels. Working with marketing and communications colleagues and external agencies, this individual will help deliver multi-channel marketing programs that build brand awareness, provide a steady flow of sales leads, and measure the return on marketing investments.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate digital expertise and manage and maintain content and content publishing processes for the ICON website to the highest standards of excellence

• Work as a facilitator between content owners and the marketing team to ensure efficiency in the creation and publication of content on the site.

• Support adherence to, implementation of site content quality standards including brand tone of voice and visual identity standards

• Oversee content governance including content audits to identify and remove out-of-date or underperforming content

• Collaborate with external agencies to ensure appropriate, high-impact visuals that encourage site visitors to engage with content

• Collaborate with Marketing Automation Manager to implement marketing campaigns designed to generate demand and sales leads as advised by Digital Marketing Operations Manager and marketing managers

• Collaborate with social media operations on calendar for social media posts

• Assist Marketing Analyst to produce website reports as well as compiling digital metrics for marketing campaigns reports

• Review site analytics to identify opportunities to optimise site visitor experience e.g. SEO, UI improvements

• Avail of any training in Salesforce CRM, Marketing Automation and other digital marketing SaaS tools

• Maintain knowledge of marketing trends, development and best practices

• Act as a back-up to the Social Media Manager to help scheduled publishing of social media posts

Your experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism or Communications

• Minimum of 2 years' digital marketing experience with proven track record of success in managing websites and social media accounts at a corporate level

• Experience using Content Management Systems for website publishing required

• Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred but not required

• Strong project management and performance measurement skills

• Ability to develop strong relationships and work with senior level executives

• Solid business acumen, management and problem-solving skills

• Self-motivated, resourceful, and have excellent written and verbal communication as well as leadership skills.

• IT literacy, especially HTML, CSS, Microsoft Office
