ICON’s Commercialisation Strategy & Science (CS&S) division provide insight and knowledge to our pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients which allow them to make informed decisions as to maximizing the commercial potential and realizing the full value of their compound.
 
Through intelligent acquisition and also through organic growth, ICON Commercialisation & Outcomes (ICO) have built a division which can offer a fully integrated and comprehensive product commercialization capability.  At our disposal we have access to expert knowledge within: Pricing & Market Access; Health Economics; Patient Reported Outcomes; and Epidemiology
 
Due to the continued growth of this division we are looking to recruit for a Director of Thought Leadership opportunity.
 
As Director of Thought Leadership you will:
  • Define and implement an approach across all practice areas, integrating the full range of services, showcasing the knowledge and expertise retained within CS&S.
  • Create a platform, promoting client engagement and interaction, allowing CS&S to demonstrate the value and relevance of our insight and analysis.
  • Manage staff Thought Leadership efforts, in the creation of high quality; timely and high-impact outputs.  Promoting an environment of shared success and team-work, connecting staff with peers across different practices and consulting areas.
  • Contribute in setting the direction and strategy of an industry-leading consulting (thought leadership) function
  • Lead discussions with industry stakeholders (high-level KOLs; senior industry experts; payers; clients).
  • Develop and implement a simple, high-impact manner of communicating Thought-Leadership outputs (internally and externally)
  • Partner with ICON staff (Business Development) and leadership to integrate activities and value proposition.
  • Alongside ICON Marketing, implement a communication strategy of providing invaluable industry insight, encompassing Webinars; White Papers; Congresses & Events; etc.
To be considered for this role, you should: 
  • We are looking for this individual to have a background and experience in Thought-Leadership or Client Engagement, achieved within a pharmaceutical/strategy consulting environment.
  • Have an understanding of pricing; market access; health economics; and outcomes issues and interrelations.
  • Have considerable and demonstrable experience of People Management and Business Development.
  • Be able to manage disparate internal stakeholders
  • Be a vocal advocate and positive influence towards team working and staff integration
