Reporting Analyst – Investigator Payments Group
 
ICON plc, a leading Contract Research Organisation, employing approximately 13,500 employees across 97 offices in 38 countries, seeks an experienced and highly motivated Reporting Analyst to join our Investigator Payments Group at our Global HQ in Leopardstown.
 
The Role:
 
The Investigator Payments Group (IPG) is the investigator payments function for ICON Clinical Research. The department role is to ensure timely, accurate and efficient execution of investigator payments & to ensure all payments are carried out in accordance with ICON policies and procedures. As a Reporting Analyst you will support reporting requirements ensuring compliance with any Healthcare reporting legislation as well as supporting the operational reporting for IPG team.
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Complete reports and tracking in a timely and consistent manner with concise, accurate information in various systems and tracking tools.
  • Ensure proper documentation and record tracking of meetings, decisions, interventions and escalations.
  • Liaise with customers to determine report requirements.
  • Interrogate & analyse data and prepare relevant metrics. Accurate analysis with limited supervision is expected.
  • Become proficient in systems, tools and ICON’s applications to efficiently and accurately analyse data.
  • Perform other reasonably related duties, analysis and special projects as assigned by management team.
What you need:
  • Prior relevant experience related to data analysis and production of reports is essential
  • Demonstrate a logical approach to analysis with a questioning attitude
  • Numerate with some financial understanding
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS office package
  • Advanced excel skills are essential (Pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
  • Excellent communication (written and oral), organizational and customer service skills are essential
  • Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision
