- *Travel (approximately 25%) domestic and/or international.
- Clients – Delivery to Customers, Building Relationships
- *Maintain positive, strong working relationships with clients, vendors and staff.
- Ensure that CRP has a strong presence within ICON.
- *Be responsible for tools, analysis & training provided by the PO Group.
- Attend bid defences/selling meetings as required.
- *Ensure the office and its staff operates in a professional, service-orientated and client (internal & external) orientated manner.
- Performance – Personal Effectiveness, Commercial Awareness, Robust Thinking
- *Drive process improvement initiatives within PO, CRP and in the wider organisation
- *Drive system performance, compliance & change within PO and CRP
- *Ensure that study, department and employee performance is objectively & systematically measured. improved and reviewed on a regular basis
- *May oversee reporting of projects to ensure they are projects conducted in an cost effective manner, meeting sponsor and expectations and in adherence with ICON KPIs & costs.
- *Liaise with other managers, directors, VPs to improve the effectiveness of the organisation
- *Comply with ICON’s project governance system; keep senior management informed of project/departmental status in relation to payment quality, cost and timelines.

- * Responsible for performance management & review of all analysts under their jurisdiction.
- * Complete goal setting and objectives, monitor progress and provide feedback and training to the Project Analysis Team.
- *Ensure all necessary training is provided to his/her staff to improve their job performance and knowledge.
- *Proactively, participate in the selection and recruitment of suitable and qualified staff.
- Ensure local/team staff turnover levels are kept <15%.
- *Act as mentor/role model for the CRP management group.
- * Training, mentoring and coaching of staff under jurisdiction on their developmental needs.

- Track record in successfully managing or mentoring teams or individuals in achieving their goals and implementing process improvements.
- Good communication (written and oral), organizational, and influencing skills. Ability to build relationships with all levels of stakeholders. Ability to liaise successfully with all levels of management at ICON, vendors, and clients.
- Good working knowledge of MS office package. Experience with Clinical Operational systems is a plus.
- Due to the nature of this position it may be required for the employee to travel. Therefore, dependent on the employee’s location, the employee may be required to possess a valid Passport or Drivers license.
- US/LATAN/CAN: Minimum of 5 years’ experience of project management, scheduling, financial analysis or relevant pharmaceutical industry experience.
- EU/APAC: Significant proven experience of project management, scheduling, financial analysis or relevant pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Degree, or local equivalent, in medicine, science business or equivalent degree/experience
- Professional Project Management or Clinical qualification.
