This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast paced, busy environment for a leading global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries.

As a P2P Business Case Project Manager you will be responsible for creating the business case for a Global Procure to Pay implementation.


As a P2P Business Case Project Manager your key responsibilities will include:

  • To understand current Procurement business requirements.
  • To prepare the business case in support of the implementation of a P2P solution for Global Procurement organisation, and to ensure it is fully costed.
  • Vendor identification and cost negotiation.
  • Stakeholder Management.
  • As part of the business case submission a high level implementation schedule to be created.
  • Implementation partner identification and selection.

As a P2P Business Case Project Manager your skills and experience will include:

  • Extensive experience of developing P2P business cases for global solutions.
  • P2P and related business process and best practice business analysis.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems is essential, ideally 2 full life cycle P2P implementations, including business process re-engineering.
  • Solid understanding of the software development process, including requirement gathering, analysis/design, development tools/technologies, release/version control, contemporary testing methodologies and deployment management.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; expertise in setting and managing customer expectations.
  • Skill in conceptualizing creative solutions, then document, present and gain buy in from senior management.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.
  • Ability to communicate with all functional areas of the business including IT, Finance, HR.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all management levels.
  • Ability to operate under a dual reporting relationship (Procurement, IT etc.).
