RFI Data Analyst

What will you be doing?
As an RFI Data Analyst, you are a key member of the Commercial Operations team; working closely with the BI/RFI team and Proposals, Therapeutic Expertise, and Business Development teams to generate accurate, high-quality experience data for inclusion in RFIs and other sales/marketing materials. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with Therapeutic Expertise, Operational Reporting, Human Resources, and other business units to develop guidelines and optimal metrics reporting for each respective division within our organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Generate reports from ICON’s systems and contribute to the development of new reports and dashboards.
- Using Microsoft Excel, create relevant, usable client-ready tables and charts for inclusion in RFIs and other sales/marketing documents, including written and visual presentations. For example, study/employee experience summaries, staff headcount summaries, and regulatory submission metrics compiled from data lists.
- Perform maintenance and oversight of the RFI team’s source data and our metrics-related SharePoint files.
- Identify needs for data cleanup and coordinate with respective teams.
- Perform maintenance and oversight of the RFI Team’s metrics-related guidance documents.
- Proactively respond to metrics-related requests from internal/external clients.
- Support activities associated with the analysis and reporting of clinical data.
- Maintain high standards for data quality and accuracy.
- Work independently to meet predefined project timelines and goals.
What do you need to have?
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience. Degree in Business, Analytics, or Science is preferred.
- 1-2 years of professional experience required; 3-5 years of professional experience, preferred, including:
- Applied analytical and strong organizational abilities and a dedication to quality and reliability in all work tasks.
- Demonstrated data analysis skills, including the ability to create effective and strategic summaries/deliverables.
- Ability to manage relationships with internal customers.
- Must be able to work under deadline pressure, but maintain accuracy and detail.
- Knowledge of CRO/pharmaceutical industry.
- MS Office Suite; very high level of proficiency and comfort with Excel (eg, detailed pivot tables and VLOOKUP) and high level of proficiency and comfort with Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SharePoint.
- Must read, write, and speak fluent English.
