Senior Business Intelligence Developer

Location: Dublin

The Integration Developer (ETL) will be responsible for design, development, testing, maintenance, and support of the enterprise Integrations using Oracle ODI.

The main responsibilities will include:

  • · A technical lead for Oracle ODI Integration solutions, who liaises and provides technical direction and guidance to ICON’s development teams in EU, US and India
  • · Create reference implementations, patterns and programming standards
  • · Help drive the adoption of the Oracle ODI Integration stack in ICON
  • · Lead code reviews, process improvement and mentor other team members

What we are looking for in you:

  • · Experience in the design and implementation of ETL processes using Oracle ODI (preferred) or similar ETL tool (e.g. Informatica, Datastage, OWB etc.)
  • · Advanced knowledge of PL-SQL
  • · Experience of data modeling and data modeling tools (Embarcadero preferred)
  • · Good knowledge of XML and related standards: XSD, WSDL, XSLT, XPath, SOAP, etc.
  • · Experience across a range of integration protocols and transports, including: HTTP, Web Services, File & S/FTP, JMS, ODBC/JDBC, Change-data-capture and database replication
