Senior Medical Director

Role: Head of Medical Affairs

Location: London or Midlands (Flexible)

Accellacare are searching for a Head of Medical Affairs for EMEA to join their growing team in the UK, this is an exciting and rare opportunity to work in a fast paced patient focused environment with a commercial focus.

In this role you will have oversight of clinical trials including engagement as required with sponsors and with external medical professionals and vendors as well as management of the medical team. The role requires a commercial emphasis and would require experience of driving operational and financial performance and growth, including support of business development and feasibility assessment activities as well as contributing to the strategic expansion of site networks.

Accellacare's patient centric approach focuses on enhancing the patient experience and providing patient assessments either at site, or at home in association with Symphony Clinical Research. Accellacare is also achieving faster study start-up for its customers through efficiencies gained in central process management including budget and contracting, which can otherwise be a source of delay. This combined with a finely-tuned feasibility approach ensures that the network can identify and recruit more patients to studies, in a wide range of therapeutic areas, in a shorter time frame.

Role requirements;

• Medical degree
• Extensive experience working in research
• Experience of working as a Principal Investigator
• It would be advantageous to have experience in site networks
• Experience in people management, leadership of team of medical affairs professionals
