Senior Middleware Administrators (4 openings)

ICON are building a new Middleware Administration Team based in India. This team will be responsible for production, non-production, and project support for all components of the Middleware stack upon which ICON’s services and data are delivered.

• Oracle FMW SOA
• Informatica MDM
• Weblogic Clustering and  JVM / JMS tuning
• Tomcat/Jboss

• Responsible for the architecture, installation, performance, support  and security off our Middleware technologies which currently includes:  Oracle Fusion Middleware components SOA, ODI, OAM, OBIEE,; Informatica’s MDM,  Tomcat, Jboss, and OAS.
• Troubleshoot performance, functional and availability problems. Works closely with infrastructure, dba, developers and business analysts to ensure the success and agility of ICON’s services.
• Pursues continuous improvement and automation at all times, to provide the highest possible standards around our data delivery, system quality, and availability.

• Strong technical skills and experience in some or all of the following, with the ability to become technically proficient in all, and any other future middleware technologies which ICON may use:
  • Oracle Fusion Middleware Stack
  • SOA, BPEL, JMS, OWSM, OSB, ADF
  • Weblogic, Tomcat, Oracle Application Server, JBoss, webservers.
  • Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
  • Informatica Master Data Management Suite (MDM)
  • Oracle Access Manager / OID
  • Oracle Webcenter
  • ELK Stack – Elastic Search/ Logstash/ Kibana
  • Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c
• Experience working in 24/7 fast-paced environments. Comfortable working in a number of roles at the same time - as a production admin , supporting and troubleshooting a diverse range of technologies; and in a development role working with project and innovation teams.
• Desire to automate at every opportunity.  Experience using scripting languages and devops tools to automate the provisioning of environments, release management, and monitoring.
• Detailed knowledge of configuring, monitoring, tuning Weblogic domains in Cluster and High Availability environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across the tech-stack, including skills in JVM  JMS Queues tuning and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of knowledge and information management in the SOA and Master Data Management environments.
• While there are no  development responsibilities in these roles, previous experience in Java/J2EE/ADF  development is highly regarded.
• Good  knowledge of enterprise applications, architectures and devops practices
• Knowledge of virtual infrastructure in the context of running enterprise middleware systems.
