- Minimum of 4 years of experience in market access/reimbursement and 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/managed care arena to ensure an in-depth understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and the access/reimbursement issues that impact a product's success
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within an agency and supervisory experience are required
- Experience as a V.P. or Director of Managed Care marketing in the pharmaceutical industry is also highly desirable, in addition to the required agency experience listed above..
- Strong track record in business development and account development; Demonstrated consultative sales experience calling on the pharma industry
- Proven ability to identify marketplace opportunities
- Ability to build product- related managed markets strategies with bio-pharmaceutical contacts; manage and maintain multiple accounts; mobilize and motivate internal resources required to deliver projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, great presentation skills, and strong analytical skills; A performance-driven, focused, leadership attitude
- Ability to travel as needed
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
