ICON Clinical Research is a leading global Clinical Research Organisation (CRO), partnering with the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries in the development and commercialization of new medicines.

We are currently recruiting for a new opportunity in our Dublin (Leopardstown) office – CRM Data Steward (Salesforce.com).  This position is a result of expansion and continued investment into our successful commercial function.

As a CRM Data Steward you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of data retrieved from our (Salesforce.com) CRM system, including trend analysis and continuous process improvement.  Additionally this role holds (internal) customer facing responsibility into our global Business Development team, addressing gaps in knowledge and providing training to CRM end users.

Overview of the Role

• Assist in the creation, validation, maintenance and reporting of sales funnel data within the CRM system (Salesforce.com), providing support and training to internal users
• Working with the Senior Manager, Sales Operations, ensuring that high quality data is created, delivered and consumed throughout the ICON organization.
• Providing support to key Salesforce.com stakeholders, including our global Marketing, Inside Sales, Business Development, Proposals, Contracts and Finance teams.

Required Skills & Experience

·         Candidates must demonstrate a prior knowledge of / experience working with the Salesforce.com CRM system.

·         You should have excellent communication skills and have a consultative approach to your work.

·         Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical or Clinical Research industry is preferred, but not mandatory.  We will consider candidates from other (not related) industries.

·         Excellent IT skills are required, including the use of CRM (Salesforce.com); word processing; spreadsheet, email and presentation software.

·         Ability to balance strong attention to detail with overall business and deliverable objectives

·         Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively and confidently with senior members of the organization

·         Ability and willingness to travel around 10 % of the time (international and domestic: fly and drive).
