As a Manager Clinical Vendor Management you will be joining the world’s largest & most comprehensive clinical research organisation, powered by healthcare intelligence.


Responsibilities

This person will need to be very well versed in Excel.  Having a strong budgeting background and understanding about clinical trial budgeting is essential.

• Support outsourcing and contracting needs of global clinical development programs
• Lead the vendor outsourcing, including Request for Proposal and analysis of bid responses, at the clinical study level
• Generation, negotiation and execution of clinical trial vendor contracts required to meet study timeline deliverables and ICH GCP compliance requirements
• Act as the primary contact with vendors for negotiation of the scope of work, study assumptions and budget
• Ensure that the contract terms and budget meet SOPs, department processes, and financial/legal requirements while working within the boundaries of the vendor specific master agreements
• Has a clear understanding of customer's needs and use this knowledge to advocate for, and drive delivery of, improvements that provide clear benefits to the customer
• Provide financial analyses support for various vendors to meet or exceed the cost reductions within the Procurement department
• Has a thorough understanding of the industry and trends and continually provides solutions based on this experience
• Assist with onboarding of new Team Members
• Well versed in the Lifecycle management of clinical vendors and anticipate impact of any vendor addition or changes
• Provide mitigating risk initiatives to ensure seamless vendor delivery and support
• 
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment


Qualifications

Knowledge of vendor capabilities, systems and related processes.

Demonstrated leadership and a track record of success implementing corporate programs/projects.

Proven verbal, written, and presentation skills to communicate at multiple levels of the organization.

Inquisitive with strong analytical skills.

Ability to support change.

Ability to provide input, solutions, and recommendations regarding vendor use.

Ability to assist with business case development to aid in the selection of the right vendors

Additional needs:

Experience in process management

Experience in change management

BA/BS degree
