We are currently searching for a candidate who can drive planning and execution for the External Alliances team within OBU Global Medical Affairs.
Accountabilities/responsibilities
- Supports the Director of External Engagement to execute on the Medical Congress strategy for Global, including prioritization of project, programs, etc. and infrastructure / capability build
- Supports the Director of External Engagement in partnering with Functional and Medical Affairs Leads (MALs) for BAU activities and special projects
- Tracks and manages congress re-charges (provisional)
- Provide tactical support for strategic engagement planning, alignment and visibility with internal stakeholders including 1:1 engagements at key congress; collation of KEE interactions across Tumor areas, ORD & Commercial; support Tumor area external engagement initiatives / workstreams; project plans and slide decks for project updates and tactical elements.
- Special projects support eg. Best practice for external engagements to include in OpEx hub. Maintain project deliverables and dashboards
- Support Medical congress planning meetings and project managing smaller congress.
- Manage collection of activity information for key congress to support cross Franchise, cross functional alignment and provide cyclical updates to activity views for resourcing decisions. (C2P & GME)
- Develop and collate slide decks for congress planning and leadership informs
- Act as primary support to Global Medical Team (GMT) to ensure development and execution of key critical strategic initiatives and track deliverables from the GMT as well as from representative countries that sit on the GMT, including Evidence, Confidence, and Medical Launch activities and associated budgets
- Partner with other S&O PMs supporting Global Medical Teams (GMTs) to ensure alignment and appropriate inclusion of support functions into IMAP development and evidence generation, budget forecasting and portfolio prioritization.
- Creates and maintains project / deliverables dashboard and develops cross-functional tactical plans, based on the strategy, to support tollgating & other business decisions for OBU Medical.
- Interfaces with stakeholders (internal and external to OBU Medical) and positions projects for prioritization within the broader business context as part of the LRP and ABU
- Run meetings, provide strategic input into meeting agendas, and manage action items from those meetings.
- Finalize transactional survey with C2P (provisional)
- Support Superfly onboarding for teams, licenses etc, promotion, Best practice. Link with Christian / SA-VMLY&R Healthcare (provisional)
- Technology CRM – Superfly / CRMLite discussions and alignment / integration with ENGAGE
Required experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry or similar with comprehensive understanding of the development and commercialization of pharmaceutical products
- Project management knowledge and experience with the ability to work independently
- Experience of successful influencing cross functionally, cross-culturally and cross-brands and effectively working in a multi-cultural, matrixed environment
- Excellent proficiency in key Microsoft Office programs (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
- Experience working in a global setting, managing stakeholders within different time zones
- Experience preparing and/or delivering presentations to executive leadership
Preferred Requirements:
- Graduate level degree in sciences or business degree or equivalent experience
- Data analysis and reporting
- SME in Smartsheets and Power BI
- Depth of understanding of medical, scientific and/or commercial pharmaceutical marketplace of Oncology is a plus

- Demonstrated knowledge and very wide understanding of global business context
- An excellent communicator; evidence of strong independence and innovative seeker of strategic solutions; forward looking
- End to End process development expertise with strong background in business process / business analysis
Experience of continuous improvement within process, embedding into ways of working and taking actions to fill gaps
