The Role: Medical Technologist I – Immunology- Farmingdale, NY

If you’re a Medical Technologist with immunology experience learn more about how you can be a vital part of ICON Central Laboratories which is dedicated exclusively to central laboratory testing and the associate services for clinical trials.  

Responsibilities:   

The Medical Technologist I will be responsible for performing technical assignments and testing in the infectious diseases laboratory department, entering and releasing required information in the Laboratory Information System, such as test results, comments, and quality control results.  Will consult with laboratory supervisory staff prior to reporting grossly abnormal results and when out of control test run is encountered.

 To succeed you will need:

5+ years of medical technologist experience required.

Holds Bachelors in Medical laboratory science

Active NYS MLT license

Must have sufficient testing experience within a lab environment where you demonstrated excellent analytical, organization, and documentation skills

Must have hands on complex manual testing experience

Salary Range

$57,800 to $69,370

Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, education/training, and skill level.   You may be eligible for a bonus, stock compensation and commissions in some cases depending on your role and performance.
