Summary
The Project Operations Analyst (POA) team is the support and analysis group for ICON Clinical Research Services. The POA Department's role is to develop and manage fit-for-purpose and efficient project planning and analysis solutions that can be utilized across ICON's growing sponsor portfolio by the Project Management Department and other functions to effectively manage studies and ultimately improve Operational Metrics.
The objectives of the POA group are to support Project Managers by providing the operational data control and analytics to effectively plan and review progress and enable ICON IPH Full Service Project Managers to deliver best in class projects.
The role of Project Analyst I is to support POA group goals and objectives.
POA stands for:
- Project planning and support
- Operational data analysis and support
- Operational data controlling
Job Description:
General:

Experience, Skills, Knowledge requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to interpret data (analytical skills) and convert between formats/ perspectives/ views.
• Excellent communication (written and oral), organizational, and influencing skills. Ability to build relationships with all levels of stakeholders.
• Numerate with some financial understanding.
• Proficient working knowledge and regular usage of MS office (incl. Excel) package. Experience with Clinical Operational systems is a plus.
• A minimum of 1-2+ years of project management, training, analysis or relevant pharmaceutical industry experience.
Mandatory Skills Sets:
- Project management exposure
- Expertise in advanced excel – numbers, formulae, data management, data handling.
