Senior Clinical Research Associate - Biopharma (Ireland)

Are you an experienced Senior or Principal level CRA with a good understanding of commercial clinical research trials, looking for your next home-based role in Ireland?

ICON’s Strategic Solutions division enjoy a close partnership with the premier global biopharmaceutical company who are looking to expand their site monitoring and management footprint in Ireland.

We’re very interested in speaking with Senior or Principal level CRAs looking for a development role. The successful applicant will have typical CRA site management experience (covering sites in Ireland) balanced with additional clinical project management tasks (with a focus on Respiratory and Cardiovascular trials). It is envisioned that the role will transition into a full-time project manager position as the site monitoring staff footprint increases in the region.

• The experienced field based / home based SCRA (Clinical Research Associate) will perform all aspects of CRA work covering site evaluation, site initiation visits, site monitoring and close-out visits.
• Identify site needs and site-related issues, escalate and/or initiate corrective actions when necessary, providing solutions for site staff to facilitate the clinical trial process.
• Build and maintain solid and long-term professional relationships with investigators and site staff.
• Ensure that sites are identified, site qualifications performed, set up, initiated, monitored, closed and documentation archived.
• Leading Local Study Team at country level to deliver committed components of clinical studies according to agreed resources, budget and timelines
• You will be required to travel to sites across Ireland.

What is required and expected;

• We're looking to recruit high-level CRAs with the strong monitoring experience in an independent role, preferably with project management experience in some capacity
• Ireland only site travel (and on a reduced basis).
• The ability to thrive whilst working autonomously, and demonstrate effective relationship building with sponsors, junior staffs, sites and colleagues, as well as strong management skills.
• Life science degree and clean full Irish driving licence
