We are currently searching for a candidate who can drive planning and execution for the External Alliances team within OBU Global Medical Affairs.
Job Description:
We are currently searching for a candidate who can drive planning and execution for the External Alliances team within OBU Global Medical Affairs. The role would include project planning and tracking, budget management, cross-functional coordination with other GMA teams, and relationship building with external organizations. The ideal candidates can demonstrate their strategic thinking, ability to work collaboratively and act decisively to support the broader goals of OBU Medical as a whole.
This position will report to the Director of Business Planning & Operations and work directly with the Head of the External Alliances and the function.
Accountabilities/responsibilities
- Project and programs: Creates and maintains project plans for planned activities within the function. Tracks and reports on program milestones and impact for team.
- Internal meeting management: Run meetings, provide strategic input into meeting agendas, and manage action items from those meetings.
- Budget: tracks budget and project portfolio and reports to team on monthly run rate, actuals versus forecast. Supports annual planning cycle and prepares content for financial business updates. Interfaces with stakeholders (internal and external to OBU Medical) and positions projects for prioritization within the broader business context.
- Compliance: Accountable for implementation of medical and compliance standards within the group including HCP engagement, Nominated Signatory compliance and grant management.
- Business Planning & Operations team: Partner with other BP&O PMs supporting Global Medical Teams (GMTs) to ensure alignment and appropriate inclusion of support. Creates processes that will streamline and simplify the business and shares best practices across team.

Required experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry or similar with comprehensive understanding of the development and commercialization of pharmaceutical products
- Experience working in a matrixed organization
- Experience working in a global setting, managing stakeholders within different time zones
- Budget management and reporting
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in R&D or Medical Affairs strongly preferred (Global, Regional, or local)
- Experience working within a partnership or alliance
