Bio
Having qualified as a veterinarian, I decided to move in to the Clinical Research industry 19 years ago by taking a position as a Clinical Research Associate. Since then, I’ve progressed steadily through my career to different positions of responsibility and I joined ICON 2 years ago in 2012 as a Senior Director in Project Management. During my time in the industry, I have built up expertise in areas such as project management processes and life cycle, as well as line management and coaching.
In my current role, I manage a group of Project Managers and Directors working in the therapeutic area of the Central Nervous System. As part of my managerial duties, not only do I provide senior oversight for projects, I also direct, develop and coach each team member to make sure that the trials they deliver for our clients are of the highest standard. We have incredibly high expectations for the quality of project management and customer focus involved in each clinical trial and I help to ensure that we achieve this.
I’ve been given the opportunity to be part of business development proposals, bid defence and client interaction and I also work on different project management initiatives. I’m very proud to be part of the ongoing growth of ICON and its people in line with our core values and mission.
