The role:

The Program Manager provides project management leadership to cross-functional teams for all activities related to the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and close-out of assigned projects. Ensures that all budgetary requirements, study timeframes and targets are met. May be responsible for managing a portfolio consisting of high complexity/high-profile, global, full-service projects. May also serve as a Line Manager for Project Managers and Sr. Project Managers on the team.

• Supports the Program Director in the development of strategic objectives with partners, vendors, organizations and internal stakeholders

• Oversees the project resource to ensure that products are delivered on time and within budget

• Aligns operational requirements for delivery of program objectives with ICON’s quality initiatives and business processes.

• Ability to rapidly shift priorities, adjust for demands, and manage complex programs.

• Oversee deliverables while formulating, organizing and monitoring risks.

• Ability to rapidly shift priorities, adjust for demands, and manage complex programs.

• Mentors and develops internal staff members 

To be successful in the role, you will have:

• Bachelor's Degree

• 4 - 7 years of experience in a project management role in the CRO or big pharmaceutical setting

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, large, global projects and manage all financial aspects of the study

• Subject matter expertise in the designated therapeutic area

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Strong influencing, problem resolution, motivation and negotiation skills

• Fluent in English, written & verbal (Mandatory)
