Job Description Summary:
Symphony Health, a division of ICON, is a leading provider of integrated data-driven solutions and services for the healthcare industry. Our innovative technology and expert analysis enable our clients to make better decisions and drive improved outcomes for patients. We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead and manage the delivery of IT projects across the organization.
Job Description:
Manage the full lifecycle of IT projects, from initiation to closure, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and QA testers, to ensure project objectives are achieved.
Identify project risks and issues, and develop and execute mitigation strategies.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
Manage project budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting project expenses.
Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and that testing and validation are completed before release.
Implement project management best practices and continuously improve project management processes and methodologies.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
Experience managing software development projects using waterfall and agile methodologies.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proven ability to identify project risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies
Experience managing project budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting expenses
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
This permanent position is office-based in D18 with some flexibility to work from home two days/ week
