Our business relies heavily on project management, which serves as the basis for many of the services we provide to our clients. Within ICON, project management is divided into two independent disciplines: clinical and non-clinical business services. 

Our primary services, which include pre-clinical, early phase development, Phase I–IV studies, commercialization, and outcomes research, are carried out by clinical project managers. These project managers oversee clinical trials, collaborate with several teams, and design, organise, and oversee the trials themselves. To guarantee that their project is completed on schedule and within budget, they carefully oversee its financial performance. 

Our non-clinical project managers are employed in the Complete Healthcare Communications (CHC) Group, MediMedia Managed Markets (MMMM), IT, and Medical Imaging departments, among other business sectors. To assist the commercialization of today's healthcare brands, these project managers are in charge of guiding agency teams through the creation of payer-validated market access solutions as well as scientific and health economic messaging.
